The Ontario Injury Prevention Resource Centre is pleased to announce the return of the Ontario Injury Compass, a quarterly summary of research on a particular injury issue in Ontario. The current issue covers concussions in Ontario, and examines prevalence, causes, age and gender breakdowns, and offers analysis and resources for injury prevention practitioners.

The OIPRC is pleased to announce an exciting new communications venue for IP practitioners, an email list called IP Chat. This listserv will be a new forum for discussions and questions among interested Ontario practitioners relating to injury prevention. You may wish to use this forum to pose questions of colleagues or to share information . To join, send an email to ipchat-subscribe@oiprc.parachutecanada.org.

The OIPRC has released the Ontario Regional Injury Data Report, presenting the counts and rates of injury related emergency department visits, hospitalizations and deaths by cause of injury for all Ontario health regions, as well as evidence-based practice recommendations for the top injury types in each region.
