The Ontario Public Health Association (OPHA) is a voluntary, charitable, non-profit association. OPHA is an organization of individuals and Constituent Societies from various sectors and disciplines that have an interest in improving the health of the people of Ontario.
Ontario's Health Promotion Resource System supports health promotion in Ontario. People and organizations who want to increase their capacity to effectively promote health in Ontario communities. The OHPRS is funded by the Ministry of Health Promotion (MHP).

The Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation (ONF) is a health research funder, devoted to strategic and applied research in the field of neurotrauma in Ontario. ONF is the only organization in Canada devoted to funding research in neurotrauma.
ThinkFirst National Injury Prevention Foundation offers a research-validated multi-level educational program that has reached over 8 million young people nationally and internationally, has had major influences on public policy initiatives, and continues to expand to reach those most vulnerable to traumatic injuries. Founded in neurosurgery, ThinkFirst, by virtue of its work in treating patients who have sustained traumatic injuries, physicians and allied health professional are natural spokespersons for prevention.
Safe Kids Canada promotes effective strategies to prevent unintentional injuries. By building partnerships and using a comprehensive approach, we advance safety and reduce the burden of injuries to Canada’s children and youth. Our strength is that of knowledge broker – turning research into action – by providing credible programs and messages.
Safe Communities Foundation (SCF) is anational, not-for-profit charitable organization dedicated to making Canada the safest country in the world to live, learn, work and play. This organization works in partnership with the private and public sectors to improve the health and safety of workers and people throughout their communities.
The Alcohol Policy Network's online services are devoted exclusively to Canadian alcohol policy issues. This site is designed to stimulate informed discussion about various aspects of alcohol policy, and to profile prevention efforts and successes of groups across Ontario.
THCU at the Centre for Health Promotion, University of Toronto works to increase the capacity of community and public health agencies to plan for, conduct and evaluate a wide range of health promotion programs (within a comprehensive and population-based approach).
The Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) is an independent, not-for-profit organization that provides essential data and analysis on Canada’s health system and the health of Canadians.
The P.A.R.T.Y. (Prevent Alcohol and Risk-Related Trauma in Youth) Program is a one-day, in-hospital, injury awareness and prevention program for youth age 16 and older. The goal of P.A.R.T.Y. is to provide young people with information about trauma (injury) that will enable them to recognize potential injury-producing situations, make prevention-oriented choices, and adopt behaviours that minimize unnecessary risk.
SMARTRISK is a national charitable organization dedicated to preventing injuries among all Canadians, with a special emphasis on children, youth and seniors. SMARTRISK creates programming to help people develop the critical thinking they need to prevent a lifetime of injuries. The Ontario Injury Prevention Resource Centre was created to support practitioners and all those interested in unintentional and intentional injury prevention.
