National conference extends early bird deadline
The early bird registration deadline for the 2007 Canadian Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion Conference has been extended to Sept. 28. The conference takes place from Nov. 11-13 in Toronto and includes a number of satellite events and working meetings before and after the conference.
Co-hosted by Safe Communities Canada, Safe Kids Canada, SMARTRISK and ThinkFirst Canada, the overall theme is Evidence, Action, Innovation: Moving to End Injury, Violence and Suicide in Canada. The conference will be held at the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel in Toronto.
The preliminary program is posted on the conference website. You will find information on all conference sessions there, as well as the satellite events and working meetings that are scheduled before and after.
You can register and book your hotel directly through the website. The early bird registration rate is available until Sept. 28, 2007.
