Online brain injury forum launched
A new brain injury virtual community has been launched, created by and for survivors of brain injury, their families and advocates. Based out of Ontario, the actively moderated forum aims to attract members from throughout Canada and around the world. In the first month since its launch, the forum has reached 100 new members.
The forum is designed to be used by survivors, family members, advocates and professionals. Everyone is invited to join in the dialogue in a supportive environment and to share experiences to benefit others.
“We do not consider ourselves experts, but recognize the quality and value that comes from the vast knowledge that contributors can bring forward,” notes the invitation to join. “This forum’s success will be determined by how much you are willing to share your insights, opinions, and questions with others.”
