Ontario practitioners and community partners who work in falls prevention are invited to attend the Third Annual Provincial Falls Prevention and Policy Network Symposium in Richmond Hill, Ont., on May 14, 2007. The theme is A Multi-factorial Approach to Falls Prevention.

The symposium will feature guest speakers Dr. Michael Sugai, Rheumatology and Internal Medicine, Dr. Barbara Liu, Geriatric Medicine and Internal Medicine and Dr. Ian Ferguson, Psychiatry. It will also offer opportunities for group breakout and networking sessions.

The symposium will be jointly hosted by York Region Health Services, Toronto Public Health and SMARTRISK.

It will be held at the York Region Health Services on High Tech Road in Richmond Hill, from 8:30 a.m. through 3:30 p.m.
