Falls from ladders lead to thousands of emergency department visits and hospital admissions in Ontario each year. The highest numbers are seen in middle-aged adults. Using Ontario emergency department visit and hospital discharge data, this issue of the Ontario Injury Compass presents injury data on ladder-related falls, with a focus on 45-64 year olds.
